Q. What is an LPC?

A. Licensed Professional Counselors meet educational and training requirements including at least a Master's degree, three years of supervised professional clinical experience and successful completion of a state examination. After receiving licensure, LPCs are required to earn 35 continuing education units bi-annually to maintain their status. Counselors are regulated by the State of Georgia and accountable to the Georgia Composite Board of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Social Workers. LPCs work with children, adolescents and adults in short or long-term therapy based on clients' needs and in a variety of different settings.


Q. Do you prescribe medication?

A. No, medication is prescribed by psychiatrists and other medical professionals only.


Q. Do you accept insurance?

A. At this time, I am unable to accept insurance.

Q. What is your fee?

A. My fee is $100 per session (50 minutes).


Q. Do you offer reduced fees?

A. I do have a limited amount of reduced fee slots available. These are available on a first-come, first-serve basis and have a session limitation. If you feel you may have circumstances that warrant a reduced fee, please contact me for further discussion.


Q. Do you have weekend/evening appointments?

A. I do have limited evening appointments on Mondays and Wednesdays. These are often the most popular time-slots and are available on a fist-come, first-serve basis. I do not currently hold weekend hours.
